Accompanying Persons Program

Accompanying persons are very welcome at WGC2026! While there isn’t a dedicated conference badge or complimentary full access registration for companions, we offer several ways for guests to participate in the experience:

Social Events: During the registration process you can add guest tickets for key social events including the Welcome Reception, WING Battle of the Bands, and the Western Social Event.
Field Trips & Tours: Accompanying persons are welcome to join field trips after the conference, and sightseeing opportunities.
Access: Companion tickets do not grant access to the full technical programme; however, they do provide access to social functions and shared activities.

All sightseeing options listed above are optional and independent of the Congress programme. Accompanying persons are free to choose experiences that best match their interests, schedule, and pace — whether that’s a relaxed city walk, a scenic mountain tour, or a full-day Rockies adventure.

We recommend booking early, as June is a popular travel period in Alberta.
