When will registration for WGC2026 open?
Registration will open in August 2025. Early bird rates will be available for a limited time, so we encourage you to register early to secure the best pricing.
What types of registration are available?
We offer several registration categories including regular delegates, students, and accompanying persons. Detailed registration packages will be published on our website once registration opens.

What does the programme look like?

You previously said the conference runs 8–12 June—what changed?
We initially included the 12th as a placeholder to signal that field trips would follow the main event. However, we realized this caused confusion about the core conference timing. So the official communications have been updated: the conference now runs 8–11 June, including the opening & closing ceremonies, with field trips starting on the 12th and continuing thereafter.
Accommodation
Is there accommodation arranged for the conference?
Yes, we’ve secured hotel block reservations at several Calgary hotels, and you’ll be able to book your room at special conference rates. Booking will open mid‑August, alongside the registration portal launch, where you can select your preferred hotel, room type, and complete your reservation directly.
VISA Application
Do I need a visa to attend WGC2026 in Canada?
Visa requirements vary by country. Please consult the official Government of Canada website to check if you need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
Will WGC2026 provide visa invitation letters?
Yes, visa invitation letters will be available upon request to registered participants. You can request one through your registration account once your payment is confirmed.
How long does it take to get a Canadian visa?
Processing times vary. We strongly recommend applying for your visa at least 3–6 months in advance of the event to avoid delays.
